Composition: 100% Vranec

Description of the wine:
Vranec is a typical Macedonian grape variety. This Vranec Aristocrat is a red dry wine with an intense purple color. It has aromas and flavors of blueberry, currant, black plum jam and a pleasant caramel tone. This is a dark and rich wine with a full body and a long-lasting finish.

Food combination: 
This wine goes extremely well with all types of meat and traditional Macedonian and Balkan dishes. Serve at a temperature of 18-22 °.

Sugar: 2.2 g / l
Alcohol: 14.2 % vol.

Harvest:
The moderately rainy winter was followed by a warm spring, which created ideal conditions for an early start to the season. Precipitation was in normal amounts and evenly distributed throughout the year. These conditions, which had the same course during the harvest, contributed to the high quality of the grapes and created excellent conditions for the expert teams from the winery. Wine making:

  • Grape crushing and de-staming.
  • 12 hour maceration in the presence of enzymes
  • 10 daily controlled fermentation with specific aeration regimes
  • Apple-lactic fermentation to reduce aggressive acids and at the same time increase the aroma and texture, followed by further maturation and stabilization.
  • 30% mature in oak barrels and 70% mature in stainless steel tanks
  • The wine is left to stand for 4 months in bottles before being put on sale

Description of the wine:

Prokupec is a wine from a forgotten Balkan grape variety. Popova Kula paid special attention to this wine in order to present it again to wine lovers. This wine is a harmony of color, aroma and taste. It is characterized by a vivid ruby red color, and the fragrant aromas are a combination of cherry and cherry, while in the background a dry fig is revealed. The taste of this wine is light, harmonious and fresh. In the end, the taste of dried fruit, hazelnuts and bread crust remains. 

Food pairing:
We recommend serving it at a temperature of 16-18 ° C with light appetizers, pasta and stews.

Sugars: 1 gram per liter
Alcohol: 11,79%

Harvest:
This season was great in many ways, it was the warmest, the earliest and without a doubt one of the best seasons to develop great fruit quality. There were unusually high temperatures in February, followed by slightly colder temperatures in March, which provided excellent preconditions for the development of flavors. The summer was long, very hot, which allowed the development of higher levels of sugar than usual.

Wine making:

  • Grind the grapes and remove the stalks
  • cold maceration for 48 hours in order to extract the maximum of aromas and colored substances
  • is placed in stainless steel tanks for alcoholic fermentation and specially selected yeasts are added to obtain the characteristic aromas
  • temperature, aeration regimes and sugar reduction are strictly controlled during fermentation

Cabernet Sauvignon Aristocrat

Description of the wine:
Cabernet Sauvignon Aristocrat is an extraordinarily dry red wine with a ruby and purple hue. It has a complex and intense aroma dominated by cherry, sour cherry, as well as typical spicy aromas of red pepper, black pepper and pleasant vanilla tones. This is a well-balanced wine with soft tannins, whose taste is felt for a long time.

Food pairing: 
We recommend serving red meat dishes at room temperature.

Alcohol: 13 % vol.

Temjanika Aristocrat

Composition: 100% Temjanika

Description of the wine:
This wine has soft yellow color with shades of green. The aroma is explosive with an emphasis on fresh basil, acacia, lychee, orange peel and wax. The taste is balanced and delicate with notes of honey on an exotic background. Super long, fresh, and pleasant finish.

Food combination:  We recommend consuming it well chilled at a temperature of 10-12 ° C combined with Asian and Indian food, white meat and light lemon desserts.

Sugar: 1.0 g / l
Alcohol: 12.5 % vol.
 
Wine making:

  • Hand washed in the early morning
  • Using special technology to preserve the aromas of this grape variety
  • Special maceration and grinding processes are applied
  • The most sophisticated oenological products are used - enzymes and yeasts in order to preserve the aromas of this delicate wine.

Chardonnay Aristocrat

Composition: 100% Chardonnay
 
Description of the wine:
This wine has yellow color with shades of green. The aroma is intensive and attractive with fresh character. There are minerals, fine citrus aromas, ananas, dry apricot, honey, and hazelnut. The taste is soft, fresh, and fruity. It has long and unforgettable aftertaste

Food pairing: We recommend consuming it well chilled at a temperature of 10-12 ° C combined with fish, pasta and deserts. It also goes well with soft cheese like Camembert and Brie.

Sugar: 1 g / l
Alcohol: 13,5% vol.

Wine making:

  • Picked from carefully selected vineyards
  • The bunches are completely cleaned of stalks
