Stanushina is an autochthonous Macedonian wine, little known outside the borders of Macedonia and I was told that it can not be found anywhere else in the world. I tried Stanushina Barik and Stanushina Roze from the manufacturer Popova Kula and they were both amazingly good. Both pale in color and lighter in body
wines showed an intense aroma of berries with strands of dried herbs, rich flavors on the palate and a wonderful fresh style. (Joel Mack)
