Our Cabernet Sauvignon  is a remarkable dry red wine with a vibrant and shiny color. A harmony of aromas of roasted peppers and smoky notes combined with wild berries and jam dominate its flavor. It is its remarkable freshness and full body that makes this wine good for consumption even after 4 years of ageing.

Food pairing:
This wine is best served with red meat, turkey and wild game at 18-20°C.

Residual sugar: 2 g/l
Alcohol: 13% by volume

Vintage:
Overall, the yearwas a challenging one. After mild temperatures in February, the growing season began with several spring frosts and snow, posing threats for the yields. Fortunately, the summer temperatures were very warm, as typical for the Tikveshija region. The vineyard and winemaking teams paid attention to details and dedicated themselves, ensuring that excellent wines were produced from this harvest season. Grapes were hand picked in two periods: from 24 to 26 September and from 4 to 10 October.

Winemaking

  • The grapes are crushed and de-stalked
  • Settled in inox tanks for cold maceration fostering excellent development of aromas and flavours from the grapes
  • 30 days of alcoholic and malolactic fermentation followed by processes of fining and stabilizing
  • The wine is aged for 6 months in bottles before release.
